Recreational Gymnastics

QCGA utilizes the USA Gymnastics Junior Olympic levels pre-1 through 3 curriculum, which allows recreational gymnastics students to perform activities on all of the four main events: floor exercise, balance beam, vault, and bars.

Parent Tot Classes

Parent-Tot Gymnastics classes are specifically designed for toddlers.
Instructor and parents share in student introduction to gymnastics through guided exploration.

Competitive Gymnastics

QCGA is an affiliate member of USA Gymnastics. Our gymnastics programs participate in the USA Gymnastics Junior Olympic Levels 4-10 gymnastics curriculum for competitive gymnastics.

Cheerleader Tumbling

Cheerleader tumbling classes are specifically designed for those students who want to learn, improve, and perfect the tumbling skills required for participation in both competitive cheerleading and school cheerleading squads.

Competitive Cheerleading

QCGA is the home of the QC Aces, the Quad Cities' most exciting competitive cheerleading team. We participate in the United Cheerleading Association (UCA) competitions. Our cheerleading program has grown into the most appealing in the Quad City area.

About Classes at QCGA

Class Format

Classes are offered year-round for all skill and age levels. After the free introductory lesson, new students are placed according to age and skill level. QGCA will make every effort to arrange class times that are convenient to your schedule. Classes last 55 minutes, which includes a ten-minute aerobic exercise and flexibility warm-up to music and 45 minutes of gymnastics, tumbling, and trampoline instruction.

Class Attire

Gymnastic leotards are requires for gymnastic class. Shorts and t-shirts are appropriate for tumbling, cheerleading and boys classes.

Parents' Responsibilities

Parents are welcome to observe classes from the viewing balcony. However, parents are not required to be present during classes. For safety reasons, all students must wait inside the building before and after class.
