Spectacular Visitors
The Progressive Skating & Gymnastics Spectacular
QCGA was proud to host Nastia Liukin (2008 Olympic Champion), Jonathan Horton (2008 Olympic Silver Medalist), Courtney Kupets (2004 Olympian, 3 time NCAA national champion), and Ivan Ivanakoff (two-time World Champion) as they prepared for the live show at the I-Wireless Center. We'd like to give a huge thanks to Disson Skating and the director, Mr. Pete, for all the awesome opportunities they have provided QCGA; all the way from the visit of the athletes on Thursday to the chalk talk opportunity for our kids before the show, as well as providing some tickets and vip passes to the meet & greet party after the show! QCGA was also given the opportunity to conduct an informational booth about our club directly on the main concourse during the show.

QCGA Wins at State
Congratulations to The QCGA Level 4 Team for an eighth place finish at the IL USAG State Championships held March 18-20, 2011. Thanks to all QCGA coaches who have worked so hard this year with our Level 4 team. What a fantastic season these girls had this year! QCGA is proud to announce that we have a State Champion on Vault! Below are the individual results:
Alice: 8th on Bars, 9.05; 5th on Floor, 9.3
Allison: 4th on Bars, 9.35

Congratulations to the QCGA level 5 team for an eleventh place finish in the youth division at the USAG State Championships held in Bourbonnais, IL. We are proud to announce that QCGA had some top all-around qualifiers. Way to go girls! Another fantastic season!

Congratulations to Kylie, our Level 8 team member. She scored a 34.375 which qualified her to attend the regional meet in Lansing, Michigan the last weekend in April! Great job Kylie!
Congratulations to Emma, our Level 9 team member. She scored a 9.175 on vault to secure the 9th place medal at the Illinois USAG Level 9 State Championships on March 17, 2011. Great job, Emma!
QC Aces
Our very own QC ACES competitive cheer team earned the honors of competing in the UCA National Cheerleading Championships on March 12-13, 2011 at the Wide World of Sports Arena at Disney World in Orlando, Florida! Congrats to the team and coaches Holley and Kathy!

QCGA at The 20th Annual Women's Health and Lifestyles Fair
QCGA was proud to have been invited to perform demonstrations and provide a gymnastics booth at this year's KWQC-TV6 Women's Health and Lifestyles Fair which was held March 5th and 6th, 2011 at the Davenport River Center. This year's celebrity guest speaker was Shawn Johnson, Olympic Gold medalist!
2011 Team Family Day
Our end-of-the-competitive-season party for QCGA teams and their families was at Michael's Fun World. The QC Aces and QCGA team gymnasts had a great time enjoying the run of the place. We had over one hundred attendees this year. We had a blast!
